Scotland launch of XR Network+

XR Network+ Virtual Production in the Digital Economy is a project led by XR Stories at the University of York, and funded by EPSRC. It is exploring the transformational impact of virtual production technologies on aspects of community life, cultural experiences, future society and the economy.
XR Network+ is launching two funding calls to support research activities at UK universities. We are working in conjunction with industry partners on innovative aspects of virtual production, XR, VR, Immersive in film, television, VFX, animation, games, digital fashion, and immersive experiences.
Creative Informatics, is hosting this event to introduce their community to XR Network+ and the challenge-led funding that will be available through this project. We want to engage with researchers working in virtual production and hear the views of local industry and individual creatives about how this investment could support their development and advancement over the coming years.
