Project partners: One to One Development Trust

XR Stories is working with the One to One Development Trust, a community-driven arts organisation, to develop a virtual heritage trail for the city of Wakefield. 

The project, Revealed, will explore how eXtended Reality (XR) technologies can be used to reach new audiences and support growth in the arts and heritage sectors. 

Drawing on One to One’s extensive film archive of the district and working in collaboration with Wakefield Museum, Tileyard, The Art House and Wakefield Libraries, Revealed will unearth and interpret hidden stories from Wakefield’s rich heritage.

The final experience will consist of three, site specific XR installations and one exhibition forming a virtual heritage trail for the city to coincide with Wakefield’s Year of Culture in 2024.

Revealed is one of four projects awarded research and development funding from the XR Demonstrators programme.
