XR Demonstrators

XR Demonstrators is a funding call for businesses or organisations in, or working with, museums, galleries and libraries or music, performing arts and visual arts in Yorkshire and the Humber to develop new immersive or interactive experiences.  

Applicants can bid for up to £20,000 to explore the challenges and opportunities of XR technologies for current and future audiences. 

Funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the XR Demonstrators programme will fund a maximum of four projects to develop innovative and commercially viable XR story experiences.

XR Demonstrator Objectives

The programme will support businesses and organisations to explore the adoption of XR and related technologies for current and future audiences.

It will enable novel, innovative and commercial immersive and interactive story experiences. The programme will also explore how XR technologies can be used to support economic growth.
