Join XR Stories for Alternate Realities Summit at DocFest 2022

XR Stories has co-produced an exciting programme of events for the Alternate Realities Summit at this year’s Sheffield DocFest. The Summit will be co-hosted by XR Stories on Sunday, 26 June and will bring together creative artists and the public for open discussions on cutting edge storytelling technologies, ranging from virtual reality (VR) to artificial intelligence (AI).

Taking place in Channing Hall, the day-long event will be a chance to explore the latest trends in immersive and interactive storytelling through a series of talks, discussions, networking and games. XR Stories’ research fellow, David Gochfield and Ben Carlin from Megaverse (who XR Stories supported through the OpenXR funding call), will feature on a panel for a discussion on the Metaverse. 

The Alternate Realities Summit is open to both creative industry professionals and the public. Interactive participation is encouraged and there will be opportunities to network throughout the day.

Sheffield DocFest is an international film and arts festival, which champions the documentary form.
