XR Stories launches new augmented reality app

XR Stories has launched a new app that uses Augmented Reality (AR) to showcase more than 40 projects undertaken in collaboration with Yorkshire and Humber-based SMEs.

Developed in collaboration with Megaverse, the app serves as an exciting new way to present the variety of outputs arising from research, development and funding support provided by XR Stories during the last three and a half years.

The app displays a visual representation of each project appearing suspended in mid-air in an AR environment.

Users can move their devices to hover over each thumbnail and generate a pop out preview of highlights from that project. For more detailed information, the user simply taps the thumbnail and is taken directly to the relevant project page on the XR Stories website.
