Safe to Speak Up? Sexual harassment in the UK film and television industry since #MeToo

This report, funded by SIGN, asks: is it now safe to speak up about sexual harassment and violence in the UK film and television industry?

The report draws on interview data to explore people’s experiences of sexual harassment and violence in the UK film and television industry since the 2017 #MeToo movement. It reveals why people are choosing to report their experiences within their workplace, and what happens if they do. As well as outlining areas of good practice, it also reveals where improvements are needed.
