At XR Stories, we believe that the best immersive and extended reality (XR) projects start with a spark of an idea and the right conversation. But we also know that moving from “what if” to “how to” can be the hardest part of the creative process.
That’s why we’re launching our new Creative Innovation Sessions.
We are opening the doors of our York-based studio (otherwise known as the XR Stories immersive technology R&D lab) to the creative community.
Whether you’re a business owner, a freelancer, an artist, or an individual or team within a Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise (SME), we’re offering you a protected two-hour ideation and scoping workshop with our expert team.
What to expect
Our Creative Innovation Sessions provide a collaborative and safe environment to shape your vision and build a pathway to your next steps through quickfire mentoring and project scoping.
Expect a two-hour in-person deep dive into your idea. You’ll sit down with John, Jamie, Ana, and Joe, our producers and creative technicians to:
- Scope your project: Work through the technical and creative hurdles.
- Experiment: Get hands-on with studio tech to see what’s possible.
- Map the future: We’ll help you identify the best next steps, from funding applications to our own XR Stories business or researcher residencies.
Is this for me?
If you’re a business or a creative professional with an idea for a project, product, production or service that needs a bit of expert “oomph” to take it to the next level, the answer is yes. You can come alone or bring a small team.
Following the session, we’ll provide a written summary of the ideas discussed, including links to resources and introductions to our trusted partners to keep your momentum going.
