Explore immersive storytelling with BRiGHTBLACK
XR Stories have partnered with BRiGHTBLACK to deliver a free two-day creative workshop and performance showcase on 8 and 9 September 2022.
The workshop will explore how live performance, narrative and technology can be intertwined using Unity Games Engine, through a series of talks, live demonstrations and hands-on guided work in Unity and Reaper. Participants will learn how to prototype their own ideas and put them into practice, with guidance from BRiGHTBLACK and the XR Stories team.
BRiGHTBLACK will also perform their new project, Black Rabbit, supported by Arts Council England. Black Rabbit is a hybrid live story experience, which uses Virtual Production, Unity Games Engine and Twitch to explore how audiences can be engaged online and in-person.
The workshop and performances are free to attend. Due to limited capacity, we can only accommodate one participant per company for the workshop, tickets for the performance are unrestricted. Both activities will take place in the XR Stories R&D lab based at The Guildhall in central York.
