Challenging AI stereotypes

XR Stories’ research fellow, Dr Jenn Chubb, will advise Better Images of AI on how to challenge stereotypical representations of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The project will focus on improving public understanding of AI by providing free images, which are more diverse, accurate and helpful than dominant interpretations in digital media. This includes AI images which represent a broader range of ethnicities and are more realistic, moving away from dystopian science-fiction.

Jenn’s wider research explores responsible storytelling in relation to AI and her recent project, ‘AI, What’s that Sound?’ investigates sonic interpretations.
