New research explores creative wellbeing in York and North Yorkshire
Researchers at XR Stories are conducting a survey to explore how creative activities contribute to wellbeing and community life in the York and North Yorkshire region.
The survey aims to explore how activities such as art, music, craft, dance, storytelling (or any other creative programmes, groups or meetups that people attend) are perceived.
The findings will help improve understanding of how such creative programmes support wellbeing and how the people and organisations running such programmes can communicate their value to benefit more people.
Researchers would like to hear from both people who have taken part in the aforementioned activities AND those who haven’t. Understanding both perspectives will help to build a clearer picture of how these activities are perceived and what might support or limit participation.
Take part in the survey (the survey is anonymous and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete).
The creative wellbeing survey is the latest strand of research activity from the Creative Industries Policy Research Group, led by XR Stories and funded by The York Policy Engine (TYPE) at the University of York.
