Designing more inclusive funding calls: Evidence, lessons and future directions
This report examines how changes to funding call design for the XR Network+ project (led and delivered by the XR Stories team) were implemented in practice and what can be learned from them.
The report draws on existing research on barriers to funding, alongside descriptive analysis of applicant and review data from XR Network+ funding calls, to reflect on which aspects of funding call design appear to matter, where there are early indications of change, and where uncertainty remains.
