Launch of the XR Stories Facilities Fund and Internship Scheme

XR Stories is pleased to announce the launch of two newly funded initiatives for R&D projects.

The Facilities Fund is an investment in practical development of projects, supporting recipients to hire industry standard equipment and facilities through the University of York’s Department of Theatre, Film and Interactive Media.

The Internship Scheme provides student support for long and short term project work. This could include data analysis, market research or more hands-on interning.

John Rose-Adams, R&D Project Manager for XR Stories, says: “Hiring or purchasing facilities and equipment and personnel to deliver projects are significant hurdles to the growth of small creative companies. XR Stories can remove that barrier by funding access to world-class facilities and equipment to support creative R&D in digital storytelling.”
